How long does water damage restoration take?

Drying is usually days. Rebuilding is usually weeks. Confusing the two is why homeowners think a job has stalled when it's actually on schedule.

Structural drying typically takes 3–5 days. Repairs and rebuild take anywhere from a few days to several months depending on scope. The equipment coming out does not mean the job is finished — it means the drying phase is.

The phases, and what each actually takes
